Writing my book about my experience was maybe the easiest part. Self-publishing for Kindle and CreateSpace took equally long. Re: New Book about Pauling Therapy Finished Dave's book and it filled me with ideas (such a filming a documentary on Pauling's Therapy based on Dave, and Carol Smith and all the others who have miraculously cured their heart disease , after many years of suffering, by following Linus Pauling's advice.)
I had known most of what David writes, but it is a good refresher on the hazards of statin cholesterol-lowering drugs (which he took for 17 years on his doctor's advice, until he couldn't take them any more and found Pauling.) Dave is a writer by trade, and blames his own cognitive decline (and difficulty writing the book) on lowering cholesterol in the brain. For example, he quotes former astronaut and medical doctor Graveline's book Statin Drugs Side Effects Quote: A study found 100% of patients placed on statins showed measurable decrease in cognitive function after six months, whereas 100% of placebo treated control patients showed measurable increase in cognitive function during the same period." _________________ Owen R.
