Post Doc moving in the alternative direction seeks advice/consul
Quote:
I am a family doctor and have been moving more in the direction of natural medicine over the past couple of years. This is largely in response to my strong feeling that corporate pharma and corporate health insurers have destroyed people\'s health and hopes, creating the most backward health care delivery in the modern developed world (to put it lightly) might you be able to recommend other physicians of like mind who have tried your therapies with success? I myself have hypertension and was wondering if it might be possible to sample one of the preparations. I have been on prescription meds since my first year of residency in 1998. I have had good luck with co q10 supplementation and have consequently advised patients to try it as well. Thank you very much.
Dr. N., MD, Maine USA

Dear Dr. N.

Welcome to the Twilight Zone.

Seriously, a good resource for other like minded doctors is http://www.acam.org (Academy for the Advancement in Medicine) and if you haven't found Dr. Brownstein, http://drbrownstein.com, his books and videos can help you get up to speed. (Brownstein has just begun to learn about the connection between low vitamin C and heart disease.) Also, Dr. Thomas Levy, http://livonbooks.com - STOP AMERICA'S #1 KILLER is an excellent introduction to the connection between vitamin C and heart disease.

Finally, join our forum vitamincfoundation.org/forum (anonymously if you prefer) and ask questions.

The book, "Cellular Health Series - The Heart" by Dr. Rath is also quite good. It can be downloaded from
