Post Yet Another Lypo-C Anecdote
yahoo news is a joke. I like how it says "In high-enough doses, vitamin C can cause kidney stones." Any amount larger than 500 milligrams per day can be enough to cause a problem, he says. That's only half a 1-gram packet of Emergen-C. "It rarely happens, but there have been case reports.".... typical yahoo reporting, no link to any research backing this statement up or showing cases of this happening. I took 25 packets of lypo c yesterday with about 8 grams of AA this morning. Went from feeling awful yesterday to back to normal shortly after waking up today. No kidney stones and had energy slowly come back through the day today after not moving at all yesterday.

Temp of 101. Chills, splitting headache, runny nose. I take back what I said about lypo c being a disappointment because it delivered big time for me. Was pretty much all better 48 hours later from onset of symptoms. Obviously using 25 lypo c packets is not ecomomically feasible every day but now I know for sure that its legit and I will save my lypo c for times when I feel sickness coming on because AA powder for maintenance works fine for me. I also took in other vitamins and minerals and drank white and green tea all day. Also forced myself to double my water intake to flush my system.

(when I ordered lypo c I ordered 6 boxes due to the savings in buying bulk)

I wanted to split this into its own topic because it contains useful data supporting the notion that high dose Lypo-C can act like an IV/C - without the needle, without the nurse/doctor and at less cost.

So another question, of those 25 Lypo-C packets, how many did you take at one time, and how often? What is your body weight?
