Please explain? It was noticed as early as 1950 that blockages occur first and primarily in the large arteries near the heart. Are you saying that the blockages always exist elsewhere, are are only noticed near the heart? (I would direct you to the Willis X-ray imaging done with die during the early 1950s, as well as autopsy results.) A tenet of the Pauling/Rath unified theory is that "blockages" tend to occur where the arteries are wearing out, usually near the heart where the blood pressure is highest. Mike our pharmacist friend is merely pointing out that if the cholesterol theory was correct, a) plaques would be more randomly distributed, and b) peripheral disease would be more common than disease around the heart.
